Design Philosophy

Alloy steel exhaust valve retainer for 4HK1/6HK1 engines. Precision-made with 31mm inner diameter and 38mm outer diameter to securely lock the valve spring and collets onto the valve stem, ensuring reliable valve operation under high exhaust temperatures.

How It Works

Installed on top of the valve spring. The retainer holds the spring in compression and works with the split collets to lock onto the valve stem, transferring spring force to close the exhaust valve at the right moment.

Problems It Solves

Fixes valve float, spring retainer cracking, and valve drop caused by worn or damaged retainers. Restores proper valve spring tension and prevents catastrophic engine damage in 700P trucks.
