How It Works
Installed on the rear of the alternator, this hose connects the vacuum pump to the engine oil return circuit. It carries oil back to the engine while simultaneously serving as part of the vacuum circuit that supplies vacuum pressure for the brake booster system. The flexible rubber construction absorbs engine vibration and prevents cracking under continuous thermal cycling.
